My STory

I’ve been practicing my craft since 2012 when I started by editing pictures of family and friends into slideshow montages. Shortly after that in 2013 I bought my first DSLR camera and started to capture my own content. I immediately fell in love with the whole creative process. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, with a degree in Journalism and Screen Studies and that summer took a job out in the Heart of America and officially started my career as a video creative at a marketing firm in Kansas City, Missouri. After 2 years on my own I decided I was ready to come home as I missed family and friends. In 2017 I returned home to Metro Detroit and immediately got involved in the wedding industry. I began 2nd and 3rd shooting with Heart + Soul Films and Blue Racer Productions and eventually started booking and working with clients of my own. At the end of 2018 I started working full time as an editor and shooter at Communicore, a video production studio based out of Troy, Michigan and that is where I am today. I’m continuing my passion for creating and am constantly trying to hone my craft by creating engaging content.
